3 Places to Take Your Engagement Photos in Manhattan

Hello! If you’re new here, my name is Eleighna and I’m a wedding & couples photogapher in the New York Metro area! Today, I want to share my top three places I adore taking engagements for my couples!

Coming in at #1: Central Park!

Central Park is by far one of my favorite places to photograph because the variety of pictures you can get is unmatched! One moment, you can be walking down a beautiful tree-lined pathway, and the next, you can have a stunning skyline view. No matter what style of photo you’re going for—casual, relaxed, romantic, or formal—Central Park can truly do it all, and do it all well.

Coming in at #2: West Village

The West Village gives off rom-com fun vibes all the way, but it’s also incredibly versatile! Think of this area as a perfect date day: running through the streets, grabbing coffee, and spinning around with your lover. I just love the endless options here! There are dozens of local gems and coffee spots, perfect for capturing those sweet, date-like photos.

And lastly: The Metropolitan Museum of Art

So many of my favorite photos have been captured at the MET! It is a unique option for your engagement pictures, offering a variety of stunning backdrops within the museum itself. The museum definitely gives off classy and elegant vibes, but it can work for any style. Plus, the MET is pay-what-you-wish for New York residents, as well as New Jersey and Connecticut students.
